Legend
Low Risk Moderate Risk High Risk Critical Risk
Risk levels are derived from ANN-predicted indicators (L/V, Fz, Wear, Hotspot) and normalized into a segment-level Risk Index using percentile-based thresholds (P30, P60, P85).
How to use:
  1. Select a Baseline Category and a Baseline Option.
  2. Set scenario inputs: Speed, Traffic multiplier, Geometry multiplier, and Maintenance action.
  3. Click Run Scenario to update the map colors and priority ranking using ANN outputs.
  4. Click any segment on the map to open the Engineering View.
Traffic and geometry multipliers are what-if adjustments applied on top of the selected baseline.

Multiplier Input Guide
Traffic Multiplier adjusts loading frequency and operational demand.
  • 1.00 = baseline traffic condition
  • 0.80–0.95 = reduced traffic (off-peak)
  • 1.05–1.20 = increased traffic (peak / special events)
  • >1.20 = high operational stress scenario
Geometry Multiplier adjusts track condition severity.
  • 1.00 = baseline geometry condition
  • 0.90–0.98 = improved condition (post-maintenance)
  • 1.05–1.15 = degraded geometry
  • >1.15 = severe alignment or irregularity condition
Multipliers are applied on top of the selected baseline profile.
